IMO, the new Speedfan (now inc TJunc) and this build of Coretemp real correctly, Realtemp will need a new update now Intel have shared the much needed info.

Coretemp was a mile out for me before this build.

Incase you cant be bothered to read the .PDF I posted days ago :

Quite confused. I also read the Tjunction Max for E8xxx was 100oc, but latest (meant to be correct) coretemp tells me it's 95?

Who do I believe?

Edit: Whoops! Still had my -5 I left in the settings when I was using 99.1, ignore. :D

BIOS temp has nothing to do with the core sensors

Noted.- thanks:)

Have downloaded Real Temp 2.7

Still showing 5c more on Core Temp 0.99.3 than Real Temp 2.7

Will not be losing any sleep as running at stock under load reading is 36c(real)/41c(core).
So don't believe I've a lot to worry about :D

Still would be nice to be able to download a free program that was absolutely accurate without any modification/calibration

just had a look at this and one core is 37deg and the second is 27deg

is it right that there should be this much difference between the two cores?
There may be a little difference but not that big! Either sounds like a mobo or software glitch  Motherboard running latest BIOS?
