Any ideas how to get Coretemp running on vista? or I should use something else?

ps: I tried speedfan but for some reason I DONT like it and I think it reads false also.

Thanks

Speedfan usually does give false readings because the sensors it reads from are not inside the cores like the sensors that Coretemp and Intel TAT read from. As said above, try TAT for Core 2 Duo. :)

the latest version of Speedfan (8 beta) works the same way that coretemp and TAT do, reads from the die

Still not sure why anyone would use it over TAT though, unless they don't have an Intel chip. ;)

i only use speedfan to monitor temps from the sys tray, something tat doesnt do

i did use tat to compare the temps and sf was reporting them the same
