Cork 'puzzle' - very frustrating

The trick is in the fact that most people, confronted with that, will attempt to take hold of both corks at once. You actually do it one at a time.

erm, im still no fully seeing how you setup this "puzzle" or what the actual "puzzle" bit is?

once again, TTIUWP.

someone post a quick shot on how to set this up, and what you are trying to do?

This might help a bit

Lemme know if you need more detail.

erm, this doesnt help one bit, im sorry.

the "puzzle" says to use opposite fingers to grab the corks. From that drawing i cant see any way you've used opposite fingers....

if someone can clearly describe and draw what is to be done, i might be able to try it and pass/fail.

if thats the case, you just end up being interlocked...

if your firmly grasping the corks/objects, theres no physical way you can seperate them...

its clearly not possible if your fingers are locked and you cannot let go of the corks, which i presume is part fo the puzzle rules.

the only way it is possible is with sleight of hand and trickery, which isnt how one should solve a puzzle

No its not. It's 100% possible playing by the rules.

explain.....

You can separate the corks by grabbing them with the thumb and index finger of the opposite hands. There's no particular 'trick' as such, it's just figuring out how to do it. It can take up to 2 weeks (maybe even longer) to figure out.
