Ok OCUK members i hear by challenge you to find me a shop that sells frozen corn dogs based in England.

they were once sold at Morrisons for a short period, but not any more. :(

Yoou could make your own, there are loads of recipes online such as

1 cup cornmeal (polenta)
1 cup plain flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup white sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 egg
1 cup milk

Skewer hot dogs, dip in batter and deep fry.

I make them for the kids now and again, good with American mustard and ketchup.

I'm far to lazy for that mate :D

i want the 1 minute in the microwave favour :)

Are there no food import shops around?

Maybe one of the European, Asian Oriental etc stores might do them.

Cybermyk, I am going to make some this weekend, been wondering what to do as our weekend random dish:D Thanks for the post!

I always wanted to try corn dogs and I had my first one 3 years back when in Atlanta airport, gorgeous! Haven't seen them anywhere in the UK though :(

i did managed to find a USA supplier that would sell to me,

but i would have to buy 3000x10 packets and pay stupid amounts for frozen delivery :(

Made some corn dogs today, wow! they are tasty, very very easy to see why Americans have a fatty crisis happening but very very tasty indeed.

next up ill bash up some chilli corn dogs and get some pics up!
