Corned Beef Sandwich

Now I love corned beef, I usually have it either plain or with ketchup in a sandwich.

My question is, what other condiments might work well? Mustard perhaps? It would need to be something quite strong I guess as corned beef is a pretty strong taste.

What condiments guys?

Trotter syrup, buy it from the local farm or blend some trotters + cup of water

Cheese and a good chutney.

Or pickled Beetroot.

My mate loves brown sauce on his, i prefer a little bit of mustard ( French or English)

really? you'd have it with cheese?

suggest a cheese, I'm usually a cheddar man but I think that would be too mild and get overpowered.

I had one earlier I was in supermarket and happened to pick a can up not had in probably 10 years.

it was loverly corned beef + bransons pickle

Cheddar is fine, just get a mature one they have plenty of flavour.

Do any of you like crushed crisps in your sandwiches?

I was thinking corned beef, hp sauce and a bit of crushed crisps on top would be nice.

nice - used to put crushed crisps on every sandwich i made when younger - you always needed a good filling for the cement to hold the crisps in

I like a nice thick slice in the sandwich with a little margarine, then toasted. Makes the best toasted sandwiches!
