correct way to deal with this? mp3 on bus?

aye - i have problems, but im better than i was. Still, just wondering why someone can justify having music that loud, what ever type it was, to themselfs or anyone without using the words 'i dont care' although if it was ramstien or some led zep id let him away with it. Still, its all good, no harm done and ill make sure to tap him gentely and ask him next time.
Maybe it was the time of day and the fact im not use to being in that enviroment, but good god, if that happened everyday, no wonder people hate using buses!

D00d, the people in Birmingham bring speakers onto the Bus to play their music ... so headphones are weak in comparison ... although I do like the music they play

However, if he was on of them people that WALKS around with the loudspeaker on they're phone on, so every bugger can hear it...yes, I would want to kill him...maybe...yes.

I've had arguments with people playing their music like that a few times now. I ask them to turn it down and I've had a range of responses from "sure" to "**** off."
Usually just showing you are not intimidated is enough to deflate their ego.

Not sure i can bring myself to sit next to him and stroke his leg lol, reminds me too much of the Italian guy in eurotrip on the train.
I've been lucky enough to sit on a train for 3 hours with a chav family each blaring music from their phone/ipod speakers. How any of them were able to hear their own music over their family members' was beyond me. It took the threats of the train man to kick them off before they even considered turning it down
More likely they just have some consideration for others.

Today on the bus to college there was two people about a metre away from one another with the music turned up to what seemed maximum volume. It was almost as if you were listening to music yourself, but a bit quieter. Don't they realise they're going to damage their ears? :\
