Corsair 600T build - White

Looking nice! What braids are those?

Its MDPC braid and I'm a virgin braider! :D

I wanted to try and get a neat & tidy build with no pesky coloured wires showing hence I I've braided the SATA cables, the USB hub cabling and all the case wiring which was especially awkward.

The MB case wiring was EM shielded and therefore I didn't want to strip the whole cable and so I ended up 'cheating' by only braiding the visible ends.

Although not perfect I am quite pleased with the outcome for a first-timer!

Ok awesome, same i've never braided but i want to try :D

Looking good so far, I will keep an eye on this :) If it doesn't show up to your eye then fair enough but going by the picture it might of been a good idea to tape your sata cables with some electrical tape.

All done!

Note the lack of a grille surrounding the card reader. The cunning plan is to mod the floppy drive grille from my trusty Antec 900 to fit. On my to do list...

:eek::D There is an absolute tonne of room behind the mb on this case. 40mm of depth to hide away all the cable sins! An absolute joy to work with.

And in situ! Will try and get some more pics up tomorrow.

Dude...you have just sold me that desk.....been looking for a new one for my flat, as my black 600T doesnt fit in my desk it sticks out too much....love that cable managment bar that runs up the spine to the TFT.

Oh and nice build btw , I notice your running a 920 at 4.2ghz....I had my 960 at 4.2 but it needed 1.36v to run stable and I wasnt happy with the temps so i've turned it back to 4Ghz, what Vcore you running and hows your temps?

Desk is great, pain in the backside to keep clean of dust though! :p

Cable management is what sold it to me too!

I have a link to a screenie in my sig with info you're after, but chip runs @4.2GHz with 1.35v and temps max out in upper 70's.

That card reader sticks out a bit. Didn't you get a vented front cover piece with your T600, which would fit around it? It seems no bigger than a floppy drive, so it would be a shame, aesthetically, if it is left as is. Neat system overall, though. :D

Hmm maybe the H70 is just rubbish then.... to run at 4.2 I have to have it at 1.375v and I hit 85-89 under full wack on prime95....funny yours is a lower CPU, yet stable at less volts than mine :(

Tried going to 4.4ghz and I need WELLLL over 1.4v and im too scared to go that high at ill be hitting 100c.

Looks like its custom water loop time as these i7 9** run hot as hell....either that or I got a rubbish chip.
