Just a really quick post for anyone considering getting a 700D/800D.

Do it.

I've owned (and still own) a whole bunch of Lian Li cases, all top of the line, all wonderful cases. This 700D was by FAR the easiest case I've ever ever used. In under 40 mins I had built my entire new build, tested it and assembled it all in the case. Just everything made sense with this case. No funny fiddly bits, no painful metal to cut your fingers on, even the IO plate just snapped in with no trouble (how many times have we all cut our fingers trying to install these things eh?!). And it looks lovely. And it's incredibly quiet without any extra fans. And it's ******* big, which is great. Tonnes of space, airflow is amazing. The intake fan is on the base, not the front, so it's nice and quiet. Lovely, lovely case. Put's Lian Li to shame, and that's really saying something.

That's all really. Just felt the need to make this mini review for anyone considering buying. Just do it. Well worth it.

Oh, and will I ever go back to Lian Li for future builds? Haha, no. Not if Corsair come up with cases this good again.

Cheers,

Aye I bet. Although the 800D would probably be better for that. I'm just on air here at the moment and getting very impressive load temps with this case. A good 15C less than the same rig was inside my 6 month old Lian Li.

I use the Corsair 700D, it is a great case, best one i have used so far. Although, with the three 140mm supplied case fans, a corsair H50-1 cpu cooler with two 120mm akasa apache fans in push pull, a corsair airflow fan cooling the memory and the 120mm power supply unit fan, temps are nice but rather quite loud. So i have unplugged the lot except the apache's and psu, for some quiet night time computing :D.

i mean even the mobo risers were installed in the factory! that's really thinking about your customers.... only one of the risers needed to be removed for my install. fantastic stuff. puts these so called "gaming" cases to shame.

If you want to know where to get a nice side window cut, email me in Trust - Click my sig for my 700D build with custom side window ;)

I would'nt say a 700D has amazing airflow a HAF has amazing airflow a 700D has ok airflow it's built for water cooling afterall.

I would snap one of these up if it wasn't for some reviews knocking it for poor temps with air cooling. It just so happens temps improve dramatically if used with their own h50/h70 coolers. Looks almost impossible not to achieve a neat build with cable management on this case.
