Just think guys, it will be worth the wait when they release it with lasers!!

EDIT: Realised they're making them into hotel rooms in Japan. Delays are pants though.

Gutted for those waiting for it :(

Must be a design flaw to hold it back 2 months, considering prototypes have been kicking about for 6 months or so.

considering prototypes have been kicking about for 6 months or so.

The first prototypes released publicly were supplied about 10 days ago. I will be honest, there were 12 units for the whole world.

I got one for OcUK. Sadly I cannot post anything yet it is under an NDA agreement until the 15th. But suffice to say there has been an epic PC built into one, and it will be revealed soon enough!

I was referring to the show builds corsair did, like the pics the ocn corsair rep was showing off, iirc it was a fair few months ago the first picture and spec sheet was leaked too :)

I do hope it's a last minute improvement rather then fixing a problem.

Look forward to seeing your build in one :D

Well at least they are fixing the issue (if any) and not releasing some V2 version or something. Good news for me is I will be home from uni in may and able to get the pre-order price now ;D

interesting ;)

and I'm ****ed off, I really want/need this case too. There isn't a case to match it right now, there is so much tat on the market.

Also just received my email.

I do know the reason behind the delay though.

Below was a statement made by George from Corsair

We shipped over some review and sample units, and many of them were damaged. We found this was for two reasons.

1) Somebody ran into a pallet of them with a forklift. No joke.

2) There is a small tooling issue that allows the door to fit too loosely. This isn't a big deal at the factory, but during shipping, some of the vibration on the doors caused them to go out of spec, meaning that they wouldn't close correctly. This wasn't on 100% of the cases, but on enough of them that it's an issue.

Since Chinese New Year is just ending, and workers are coming back to the factories, we're making a tweak to the tolerance so the doors will fit better. This will make the case much more secure and solid, but will take about a week to complete, so first shipments won't leave until next week from China.

This means that you won't see units in retail until the end of March.

Sorry for the delay guys, but it's the right thing to do. Chances are we could ship today and 80% of them would arrive no problem at all, but I'm not comfortable with that kind of failure rate.

The last thing I want is for somebody to buy a $350 case and find out that the door doesn't fit.

Fair enough I would say. Good for Corsair to be up-front and honnest and wanting all thier goods to be as good as they can be for you all.

Im gutted for you guys that are waiting for them tho. :(
