Chaps,

Do you know if anyone makes a mid-plate for the 900D? I want to ensure that the PSU / rad are in the bottom is totally separate from the mobo area.

Apart from anything else it would look nicer if you couldn’t see all the junk in the bottom. I found a site in Portugal but their cart system is borked and I could pay. But even then there mid-plate was acrylic not metal 

Any idea’s?

thanks for the repoly Apem, this is the site I mentioned above. oh wait I didnt put their name in the post DOH!

i tried again this morning and I still couldnt order it as their cart is 100% borked.

I emailed them and will see what heppens.

its gonna have

Asus Z97 Deluxe
4770K
R9 290X (2 eventually)
Custom loop with 270mm Photon res and D5 pump
Raystorm block
1x480 in the roof, 1x360 in th bottom + 1x240 in the bottom
the sizes are because of the lover drive cage and psu. didnt want everything really tight.
All matcing Monsoon fittings of course!
2xIntel 180GB SSD's
6x2TB Hitachi 7200's
NZXT 2bay fan controller

thats about it for now! lol

it should look pretty cool when done.

yup, got one. havent fitted it yet as my loop is not 100% finished but its waiting to go in.

the fitting instructions however are non-existent and the parts it comes with are obscure to say the least

yup, it was literally the only place "in the world" that I could find one.

there are no fitting instructions at all and the online video is a total joke but I will get it done. I have a couple of tubes to route through it so will be making some holes in it this weekend hopefully.

I wish I had bought the extra bits as well really..

my mission now is to find a clear side panel not the crappy tinted one you get with it.

oh and I wish someone made decent drive caddies as these are just crap. shame as the rest of the case is pretty good.

I am at work but I think that you can unscrew The side and measure it then ask somebody to fabricate 1 for you any chance you can post some pics of your mid plate please

took me a long time to decide but i fugured that i would use the drive bays at the end. I was wrong however and now have a gap!

That being said I will just get a piece of black plexi and cut it myself to cover the gap. as it will have at least one pipe running through it, it will make it easier to plumb so to speak

Can't decide on midplate short or long and do I get the light box?

Quite simple really, are you going to use the drive cages?

If so get the short version, if not get the long one.

I started off with the long version, but ended up needing to reinstall the drive cages as I'm running 5 hard drives & had to cut the perspex sheet down

The Lightbox version is down to personal preference.. I'd build the system and then make a decision the light is good, but personally I don't like all the light coming from the lower part of the case
