Hi guys

I replaced my 2 stock Corsair fans on my A70 cpu cooler today. The unit came with a extension which allowed me to plug the two 3 pin fan cables into the 4 pin cpu coller header on my motherboard.

The two new Akasa Vipers I just installed are both 4 pin fans, so I cannot use the same extension I was using for the 3 pin stock corsair fans (i tried the 4 pin wont fit). As a temporary measure I have one viper (pull configuration) plugged into a normal fan header on my mobo and one (push configuration) plugged into the cpu fan header.

I would really like both plugged into the cpu header, does anyone know which cable I need to do this?

I obviously can't say where but you can buy a '12in 4 Pin Fan Power Splitter Cable' that does the same job but a lot tidier as it doesn't require a molex and only has 2 female connectors.

I know the type you mean Raikiri, the akasa one though has the advantage of using the molex, therefore you wont be overloading the motherboards cpu header.

This is what youll need.

Bit messy but it works a treat.

Thanks for the link. Ideally I'd like something pre sleeved to match the rest of my cabling.

Any chance you could send me a link via trust?
