Can anyone tell me if the Palit GeForce GTX 970 JetStream fits in the Corsair Air 240 case? I've read reviews saying some cards (specifically MSI's 970) do not fit in the case.
If you referring to the length, that Jetstream card should fit fine. We say its up to 290mm of length, but I have seen ppl fit up to 308mm. Length is not an issue. Width however is a little tricky due to different GPU cooler designs, but I'd use this photo as a reference to get some of kind of idea on how much clearance you have for that card.
Ive had an msi 780 twin frozr in mine, I very tall card and took some research to find if it would fit, it did but I slightly scuffed the paint on the extended fan shroud ont he top of the card. I think the msi is one of the tallest too.

Someone asked about that card on another forum and he said that his didn't fit. Do you mind posting a photo? just want to see how much it extends to the case' side panel.
I don't have a picture and don't own any of it now but the height of the card I used was 129mm including the shroud and this is the forum post I found about it. The guy has a 143mm card in his. They fit, it's just you might scuff the card and you have to pull some manoeuvres to get it in there. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?p=728766
Ah I see, I guess you really have play around with it when installing to seat the card properly. I'll keep that in mind. It's just there too many non-reference cards nowadays I tend to lose track of which cards fits and the ones that don't,
