Corsair Force 3 will not boot; error 2100 hard disk initialisation error

I was downloading a significant amount of data (installing Thunderbird and updating from Google).

I turned off the computer (proper shut down procedure) and now it will not boot, and no fixes with reinstalling operating system or pmagic utilities has been helpful.

Does anyone have suggestions for resurrecting this drive or does it need to be replaced.

Correction on last post; it is an OCZ Vertex 2 120 GB drive, not Corsair.

Drive fixed; apparently it was slightly loose in machine (ThinkPad R400 laptop); removed it and reinstalled it and now works normally.
