Hi All!

I've been rummaging about for information on using this SSD on an Asus Z170 Pro Gaming Mobo. Manual useless. Various helplines on company sites supply very non-committed responses, like "it SHOULD be okay, but check your manual". Any helpful responses please?

Checking the spec sheets, it looks like there's a match: https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/Z170-PRO-GAMING/specifications/ go down to the storage section, you see:

1 x M.2 Socket 3, with M Key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 storage devices support (both SATA & PCIE mode)*1

Also, look at the product image on https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/Z170-PRO-GAMING/overview/ and you will see labelled "12" the NVMe slot.

And on the Corsair Force product page (https://www.overclockers.co.uk/cors...-state-drive-cssd-f1920gbmp510-hd-066-cs.html) you see:

All that performance is contained in a compact M.2 2280 form factor and connects using a high-speed NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 M.2 interface, making it easy to install into a compatible motherboard or laptop.

Thanks Giles! I agree with everything you have noted. I was looking for a bit of reassurance before committing £250 to the purchase of this SSD. I appreciate your time in helping me. Thanks again!
