** CORSAIR GAMING™ **

A bit yeah but the keyboard I have the now is a keyboard I got like 6 years ago for like £20 so this will be my first mechanical keyboard so wanted to go all out. Plus I got the Corsair M95 mouse last month so wanted them to match n all that lol.
 
Can anyone comment on the release of the Cherry MX Blue? RGB.

I've pre-ordered it however I've seen that the Red Cherry RGB is actually in stock. Is the wait likely to be significant? If so I'll swap and pick up the red cherry.

Any news?
 
I am unsure when the blue will be out maybe over the nest few weeks?


That my K70 RGB with reds now just been dispatched should get it tomorrow really cant wait to get this :)
 
Received CGK70 red today, All good so far except the damn Firmware update

It's at 16% and has taken 20 minutes to get that far wtf?

Edit: 'failed to update device firmware' -.-

Edit 2: Hmm, The first thing it asked me to do was update the firmware and it messes it up... Keys still work but all LED's are off, Wont come back on..

Edit 3, Unplug and plug back in seems to have fixed it, I wont be updating the firmware again -.-

edit 4, There's some cool profiles out there! This is very similar to the profile linus used in the presentation, looks awesome :D

how tactile are the reds on this board?
 
Are the CGK70 with the red led the same as the old ones with the led on the switch or are they like the RGB ones now with the led on the pcb and a clear switch? Anyone?

I would also like to know this as my brother would like a white LED K95 but I won't buy 1 for him if it's the older layout, As much as I love Corsair the LED's on the older layout died if you looked at them for too long.
 
good news every one..1.13 firmware released, hash and back slash light up - can select uk layout.

bad news every one, it killed the keyboard registering them (aka they do nothing but light out for me atm.)

EDIT: if \ # dont work for you, reset the profile to default and they started working for me :)

Looking to buy a new keyboard and the new corsairs look great but what is the difference from the CGK70 RGB and CGK95 RGB?
