Hi

HAve just upgraded my motherboard but can't get the AIO pump to run at full speed.

HAve tried connecting the pump to the pump header, CPU & CPU OPT header. In bios have set the q control to 100% butt still will only run at 1500rpm.

Tested a fan on all headers and the speed is adjustable so the headers are not faulty.

Have I missed a setting in the BIOS settings?

Mobo is Asus Strix X99 Gaming

Cheers.

Hmm.. I have the Asus Maximus Hero VIII with an Overclockers AIO unit (Asetek) and that runs at 1500rpm. I'd wait for more input but I'm guessing it is normal.

The pump speed on the corsair AIO should run at 2900rpm if I remember rightly.

I Know I can change the speed in corsair link but I'd rather not use that.

You need to use corsair link. When you have changed the pump speed in there you can write to the firmware so you don't need to use the software after that point.
