I tried a couple of these and found them a little to tight and didn't want to damage the thread.
I have a packet on order from the site link on this post, just to be sure. ;)

they will be fine mate, i have a zalman gt 1000 xase which is 6mm thick alu , i have the following setup

6mmcase/fan1/H50radiator/fan2

and the standard screws werent even close, been running that setup for 18+months now with 6 lans in between with the cas emoving about in my boot and its still as solid as a rock ....

Thought I would try something else just to see..
I put my H50 back as recommended, 1 fan pushing into the case, and fitted the extra fan in the top of my case just above the radiator, pushing air out. Result was a drop in temperature of 4 to 5 degrees across the board.

I think I am happy with that result, except I have just wasted £4 on a set of screws that I don't need any more.

I mean would it cripple corsair financially if they were to add another 4 screws to the kit? :)

For an £80 cooler i'm sure they could run to a few more screws. I got a couple H100's.

Well i've ordered from the said above website, code MF-SC246/25 for all i know i've ordered the wrong ones.

I know nothing about screws.

This is a bit strange. I changed my H50 from stock to the push and pull exhaust set-up and I am reading the exact same temperature as I had with the stock set-up.

Seems the cost of 2 new fans was a waste of my penny's ;).

from what i understand, it doesnt make a difference at idle, but makes a difference under load :)

Just had to drive 30 miles to my mum's house to find some old strangely long hard drive screws so I could mount the second fan. Seems odd that they don't use M4 size screws as this is what all hardware stores would stock!
