Corsair H50

Are right.

I just tried changing my push pull all exhaust config to sucking in from the back over the radiator with just the psu as an exhaust fan (thats above the radiator)

Temps were about the same on the cpu, however my 8800GT graphics card got roasting quite fast. I ran furmark at the same time as prime95 and the graphics card fan went to 90%, with temps rising to 80c.
I have never seen it this hot before or the fan that high. It is overclocked from 600 - 720 on the core and 900 - 1020 on the memory. The highest it usually goes is 70c

Think when ive made a bit of money back from selling things im going to buy another Noctua P12 to replace the antec 120mm thats with the Noctua in push pull at the moment

The huge bank that the radiator is sandwiched in only has two fans. The rest are blanks without fan blades or motors.

The fan frames are screwed together using one side from each and normal fan screws, you need to put a screwdriver through from the other side of the fan to turn the screw.

It's reasonably quiet actually, fans are on low and temps are still good.

Hotwired you given me an idea :)

Think i can get away doing the same thing below in my case.

windt.jpg

Above as you see it the wind tunnel pulls in air on the left and exhaust air from the right. Think i can get away with the similar thing. Install H50 on it have the rad sit on left of the pic with shrouds mounted from the left side to make up the extra length. going to have to support it somehow due to length but you think it doable?

Secondly, the shrouds you use, are they bought as is or did you just remove fans to get the frames? Trying to look to see where i can get them but no luck using the names shrouds?

why would anyone pay £12 for something that is effectively a hollowed out fan? surely you'd make your own with some cheapo 120mm fans

I bought the fans I used to make shrouds second hand on MM (3 for £6) and the other two from the bay from the cheapest supplier.

I'm not off my head that much to buy expensive fans to rip up for shrouds :p

haha I assumed you'd have done that hotwired, think the guy above is just a bit to eager to get some magic fan tunnels of mystery :P

Im not knocking it, Im knocking mr eager beaver to spend £11 per tunnel of love rather than hollowing out an old 120mm fan, I know they work, Im all shrouded up :)
