Corsair H70 doesn't fit LGA 1155 motherboard

I'm using the 1156 backplate and the pins in the correct places but none match up. Is it just meant to drop into place without too much hassle?

Has anyone managed to install an H50 or H70 with a 1155 motherboard?

Havent used it on 1155 but ive used it on both 775 and 1156 systems and it just pushes through quite easily

If its the same as the H50 bracket, IGNORE the instructions they are wrong!! I sat there for a good 30 minutes trying to get it to fit, if you look at the bracket carefully you will see markings for 1156, use these, the bracket will be at an angle, but don't worry, mines been fine since I fitted it.

Relief! Having just bought a 2500k I was beginning to think I'd have trouble when I get home to install it tonight!

You'll have to post your temps when you get set up, see how the H70 fares.

I received my H70 today and installed it on my ME4 no problem
