**Corsair Obsidian 750D Builds**

One of my favorite cases the corsair 750D, i want to see the builds people have used them in, i havent got mine yet but will be building a watercooled pc in it in a couple of months. Post your Build !

im thinking 19/13mm tubing from the pump at the bottom behind the case to the radiator at the top. Do you reckon it will fit because there is an inch of room on the back?

Well I live in Queensland so ambient temps are normally between 22 and 30 but right now I am idling at:

CPU: 33 degrees
Case: 31 degrees
GPU: 44 degrees

When gaming I see about

CPU: 38-44 degrees
Case: 38 degrees
GPU: 73-75 degrees

The unobstructed air flow you get in the 540 and 750D are great for the 7990 temperatures are better than my Gigabyte 7970 which was also the windforce.

they are impressive temperatures for air cooling :)

Yeah it does, why do you think I should put it under there?

you shouldnt, if you spend money one a pc, you gotta see it :D

The H100i is 30mm thick and the 750D has plenty of room for a H100i with fans in a push pull configuration.

For more information check out TTL's 750D review on YouTube it’s about 40mins long but very thorough and in depth.

thanks :), would you say there will be a significant temperature drop if i were to custom loop the cpu with an Alphacool Xt45 240mm?

What CPU do you have? The Ivybridge and Haswell CPU's don’t have the best thermal compound between the chip and the heat spreader so even under water the temperatures don’t drop by that much.

The custom loop in general will have lower temperatures but not enough to warrant the cost and maintenance in my opinion, unless perhaps you were considering including your GPU in the loop also.

If I were serious about water cooling i would be looking at a 360mm at the top and a 240/280mm in the front and having both CPU and GPU in the loop.

i will be buying the 4670k, will de-liding the cpu be too dangerous and not worth the risk?

It is certainly a risk and one im not sure i would make to potentially only get few hundred more MHz.

That being said the vice method (check on Youtube if you havent seen it) seems to be quite simple and effective method, but still a risk on a £180+ CPU.

i have seen this method but for a couple of hundred more MHZ, i certainly dont think its worth it, why dont Intel use good quality TIM anyways, not that its going to cost a lot more.

I think it'd fit, just. So your card might be a bit toasty if using the top and middle lane :)

i certainly wont do that unless i wc them, i think the top one will just burn :D. by the way, do they have blocks for my gpu ?

2x 780ti's :O, that is some gpu POWER ! :D, as long as you have positive pressure, you'll be fine, the fans which come with the case are good fans. I can't wait to see this finished :)
