I'm sure I had that email a couple of weeks ago - I think it's something to do with a pre-built.

missing a m.2 ssd though

what's the warranty situation like if i wanted to add one myself (as you don't sell with them fitted)

The port is on the back of the motherboard so you would have to take it apart and void the warranty unless you can get it pre-configured with an M.2 drive

does it definately void the warranty? I've not seen any official announcement either way. their site does say:

Which would indicate we can upgrade it... this is pretty much why i was hoping Greybeard would answer.
