I agree that it is kind of BS that you guys are still working on the ADVERTISED 16.8 million colours. We had an ETA last year that it would be out in Nov/Dec time and yet here we are in march almost.

I love the keyboard. I honestly do but much like with the GTX 970 problems, I cannot continue to support companies that pull the wool over peoples eyes like this. From the evidence I've seen, it does seem to be a physical issue and not software but I will leave that up to you guys to prove me wrong. I think if you cannot give us any evidence of this working by April/May time then I don't think I will be buying anything from you guys again. You have guys beta testing the CUE software but will not confirm if that includes the 16.8 million colour fix.

Has any ground AT ALL been made since the issue was brought up or not? I use clear keycaps so the issue is MUCH more visible that if you were to use standard keys.

Sort it out Corsair.
 
Any further news about the progress of the light stuttering fix? I know it was quoted as about 8 weeks but were half way there. Surely there should be some indication if you will be sticking to that schedule?

Depends if you want "Cherry" or "Razer" switches. I personally still think that the K70 is a great keyboard but just lacks what has been advertised at the moment. If it was a little cheaper id say go for the corsair because it has potential. I don't particularly trust the "Razer" switches either.
 
Wait, so the "FIX" is only half of the battle. It still isn't the keyboard as advertised. It still seems that this issue is down to the physical limitations of the keyboard and response time. The flickering is just horrible IMO and just not good enough at all Corsair, like others I am still having to use the original 512 colors because of how distracting it is.

Is this still an ongoing issue that is trying to be fixed or is this the end of the line? I want to know if this is possible to fix fully because if not I am going to be very dissapointed. I feel as a customer I have been patient and given Corsair the benefit of the doubt but when other companies are offering a much better product I can't help but feel burned by what I have bought.

Well, Just sent my K70 back today. The 16.8 million colour "Fix" is just not good enough and I personally urge anyone who is not 100% happy to do the same. I paid a premium and didn't get what I paid for.

I'm sure when the 2nd version that actually words as intended comes out I will be interested again.

For now I'll stick with my Poker 2.
