** CORSAIR STRAFE **

Id likely go for this as I like the look of it, but wary of mechanical boards after the nightmare I've had with the ozone strike pro.

Great looking keyboard. Do you know if you will have this and other mechanical keyboards at Insomnia 55? I want to try out red and brown switches to see what one I like best.

Come and speak to me at i55. I will talk you through it and show you both. :) just ask for rich. I will have rjk on the back of my shirt anyway.

Do Cherry still make the black MX switches? I had red at first but they're too soft and i'm seeing less and less mechanical keyboards with black switches these days. :(

Of course they do. But it is by far the least popular switch.

The ozone board is made by the same OEM that Mionix use.for their keyboard.

Give this one a go if you fancy it. Corsair have an excellent RMA procedure. As do other premium brands like ducky and DAS. You shouldn't have any issue when buying from ocuk anyway, of you do then grab my attention via trust and I will help where possible :)

Might just give it a try, this is actually my second ozone. Replacement fir the first one I got. Put it down to bad luck with it. But when the second board started disconnecting too I thought it very odd. Yet I loaned it to a nephew to try it in his system. He used it for a month without issue before leaving it back. My two older more power hungry g15's work fine in my setup which makes it even weirder.

will this ever come with brown switches? Because red switches are good, but very loud.

red is the same as brown but without a tactile bump. there is no mechanical difference otherwise.

if red is loud then a mechanical keyboard is perhaps not for you

I like how they assume people only use WASD :p Fair enough it's popular, but most people i know and play with use a freakish style of config, not to mention pros using something like ESDF or something different entirely

can someone explain to me the difference in performance between these mechanical keyboards and say and MS bluetrack 3000 desktop bundle, why should i buy these expensive keyboards and mouses.

you can change the brightness and customise the layout but it is single colour only. it would be £50 more if it was RGB

I know right, but you have to remember that the UK ISO layout is the least popular in the world and as such manufacturing costs are higher.

Bring us some U.S. version then, easier to replace keycaps. :D
