oh ****... I was hoping they just pressed it in, with some plastic latches or something like that, not glueing it on.It's possible and others have done it. Some have broken traces and chips in the process, so be very careful.
As JJ says, the heatsink will either be screwed on or need a heat gun, as Corsair use both methods variably between RAM models. You may also find the diffuser itself is glued on too. Be very careful not to rip the LED strip.

Yeah, ram comes tomorrow, will see how its built, maybe just a small stretch, or spread of heatsinks and it can come out.If it’s just that strip across the top, that should be easy to remove as it’ll just be sandwiched between the two halves of the heatsink but you’ll need to try for yourself.
