Hi,
I have had a really bad RMA experience with Overclockers staff recently and I want to be absolutely sure before I send of what I believe to be a faulty 4gb stick of 1600Mhz DDR3 Ram.
Bought the 8gb kit and installed it onto the Asus Gene-Z68 motherboard today. At first I could not get the motherboard to work at all it just kept switching itself on then off then on again.
I then, by process of elimination took one of the 4gb sticks of ram out and hey presto the machine fired up into Windows 7 and all was well.
I switched the pc off again and removed the 4gb stick and put the other 4gb stick in and I got nothing. The machine wouldn't fire up.
I take it the RAM is ...(whatever it is)??
If you agree, then do I send back the faulty 4gb or will I have to send back the 8gb?
Thanks
Stu
