Hi all,

I have the above case and p8p67 mobo and being a first build I need help!

How do you connect the standard case fans - i have put each dapater on the motherboard - is this correct?

I have a bunch of additional wires in the case which have 4 black connectors and 1 large flat 4 pin adapter.

No instruction manual in box!

Oh and the fan speeds are only maxing at 200rpm - is that right as my graphic card is at a constant 1380

Connect the molex and attach the fans to the fan controller leads, then tada. If you have to many fans plug them into the fan headers on the mobo

is that the wire with the 4 small one and the large flat one?

Should the case fans mot be plugged into the mobo?

Yes, Molex is the wire with the 4 pin sockets. Plugging this in will power the fan controller.

Then plug your case fans into the other wires coming from the controller. This will allow you to use the controller to regulate the speed of your fans.

You can plug them into the mobo if you like, but you wont be able to control their speed with the controller.
