Hey?

Could you estimate what you think it could cost for an body shop to fit and paint:

Body Kit
- Font Bumper
- Rear Bumper
- Side Skirts

and just the cost of fitting and paint a front bumper :)

Thnaks

Cheap shop (possibly not a fantastic job) - £300

Good shop (all aligned perfect and matched paint) - £800

When I had my scoob it cost me £600 for:

Front Splitter
Sideskirts
Rear 'spats'
Boot Spoiler
Bonnet

That was just painting, not fitting.

My point.

Paint alone is fairly expensive, then you have to incorporate priming, keying, spraying, taking off the old ones and fitting the new ones.

Huzeeee of these forums' dad builds race engines for a guy who owns a spray shop, it cost me £200 for my rub strips alone to be colour coded on my golf.

I've got a bumper and wing mirror to be sprayed and i'm guessing it'll be around £200 just for that alone.

Why not just go to a bodyshop & get a quote - takes a lot of the guessswork out of it ;)

But dont take it to a main dealer bodyshop - they will want £800,000
, well maybe not that much but LOTS more than your average bodyshop.

Sensible price - I'd go with TW fox on the £400 mark £500 tops really.
