It's still up for sale on the register is it? Thought it had sold a month or so back! Damn if only it was may/june next year I would have snapped it up!

Running costs wouldn't be too bad providing it's as a 2nd car and well looked after

id go R32, but they are obviously older, which will lead to more servicing and parts i would have thought.

Yes its still for sale - is that you posting on there about the car?

Its ok, but its too "in your face" for me - thats sort of a reason for selling my Impreza.

Ok, they are expensive, I've got an R34 GTT and I would cry if I worked how much I've spent on it in the last year. Some rough figures for you:

Initial Costs:
10000 Bought car
1500 First years insurance

Running Costs:
600 quid for a set of tyres that last around 6000-7000 miles (Eagle F1s)

500 quid major service once a year.
150 quid secondary service every 6 months or 3000 miles, whatever comes first.

£+++ petrol - as has already been said, V-power only. probably about 200 quid a month.

Mods (Includes ones needed to replace failing parts):

700 Exhaust + Decat
100 Apexi Intake
1500 Bodykit fitting + spraying
500 New stereo (Jap ones dont work)
300 quid for a set of break disks (DBAs, stock are more expensive)
700 New wheels (second hand)

Is it worth it? Hell Yeah! When it works. . current issues, include power steering pump leak and occasional misfire caused by batches of fuel anything less than 100% fresh.
