I had 9 domains with them, the first one was setup around 4 or so years ago and i had no troubles until i wanted to transfer the registrar to my new providor (register1), and they would keep stalling and stalling until i had nearly given up hope. Over 40 emails were sent, of which they replied to around 3, around 10 phone calls were made to their transfers department, i followed all their instructions to the tee and the transfer took around 5 weeks to complete - which is an incredibly long time imo for a bloomin domain transfer. Now i have 1 domain with them, and when i feel like having a stressful month or so i'll transfer that to register1 too![]()

Just my experience.

Generally when transfering a domain to another provider there isn't too much to do from our end. If we receive a request from another company to take control of the domain, provided there isn't a lock on the domain & the verification checks out, the request gets approved.
Sounds annoying. But, that is when you were leaving, so the problem was with that department. How did you find them during the time they were your provider? Excluding your bad experience when trying to leave.
