Couch gaming with your partner (Recommendations)

Project Zomboid also has controller support and splitscreen coop. Bit more of an in-depth isometric survival sim. Quite challenging but you can play with the difficulty to tailor it to you.

That could potentially be a hit - thanks! She enjoyed playing 'Fallout Shelter' on Android, so it's definitely worth a shot. ;)

Another vote for the Trine series. Any Lego game which has local co-op.

Does Orcs Must Die 2 have local co-op? If it does then that would get my vote.

Rayman (Legends?). How To Survive.

Thanks! I ought to start adding all those suggestions to my first post at some point.

Diablo 3 (on console).

Sorry, we haven't got a console - but it looks like there's a way to get full controller support in Diablo 3 on PC.

Torchlight 2 if it has split screen.

This looks like a winner, especially with the unofficial controller settings here. Cheers!

not sure if it has controller support, but recently played through the room 1 and 2 with the other half. Was good fun.

Good suggestion! I think apps like Xpadder can be configured, so that you can control the mouse cursor with the Xbox controller.

save for the occasional bouts of, try clicking on the glowing thing, no the other glowing thing :p

We're playing Grim Fandango at the moment and there's just no way to avoid it. :D

Few my partner & I have enjoyed playing through:

Alan Wake Series
Alien Isolation
Bioshock Series

I've updated the list in the first post again - thanks for the suggestions.

Unfortunately the Mrs can't stomach any of the alien films, so Alien Isolation probably wouldn't be a hit with her. I might just buy it for myself next time there's a sale on. :)

Alan Wake looks like it's right up her street though. Cheers!

Portal 2 co-op. Should get you thinking!

EDIT: Didn't see this in the original list :(

Your +1 for Portal 2 is very much appreciated - we're really looking forward to playing it!! :)

Let me know if you can think of other games like it.

I was also wondering if The Stanley Parable might be worth adding to the list?

And what about The Witness? Is it any good if there's two of you playing together?

If I remember correctly, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory had a coop campaign that I thoroughly enjoyed. It is a bit dated now

Nothing wrong with a game being a bit dated - a classic is a classic (as long as it still works on Win 10). Thanks for the suggestion! :)

If fun racing games are of any interest, Trackmania has local split-screen too. That used to have a huge online community, very fun, quick arcadey racer.

Trackmania would definitely be a lot of fun. I've added it to the new racing games category in the first post.

Cheers!

Monkey Island
The walking dead
Tomb raider games

Thanks for the +1s!

Any Mario game

Computer says no...

"This item is currently unavailable in your region". :(

Broken Sword

The whole series will be a hit - thanks! :)

Uncharted games
The witcher 3
Gta V

On the desktop PC we took turns playing Watch Dogs (1) and she thoroughly enjoyed it. So, yeah - those games will probably also work! :)

Anything first person and she gets a head ache watching it. :(

Same. The most I got her to do in a first person game was to do a bit of sniping from a safe place in BF4.
