Hello everyone

I’m trying to build myself a computer but given this is my first time I am getting somewhat baffled by all the different components. I mostly want it for gaming but I also want to be able to use it for iTunes and backing up my work files etc.

I play a variety of games, and I recently got into playing things like Total War, Assault Squad 2 and Red Orchestra 2.

I am looking at a budget of £800 - £1000. But honestly I want the build to be as powerful as it can be so that it lasts. I am open to having an SSD for my operating system and/or paying slightly over my limit if it really will help.
Any builds (in layman’s terms please) that people could recommend would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all very much.

Hey guys thanks for the replies.

Yea I pretty much need everything. I haven't included any of that in my £800 - £1000 budget. Do you guys have any recommendations? I prefer larger screens so I am happy to pay a bit more for a slightly larger monitor rather than have a smaller one.
