Well i've done it and gone and got myself a Nikon D3 and have to say WOW what a piece of kit it is, I have a 14-24mm f2.8 on it at the moment (now thats what I call a wide angle lens) and just waiting for my 24-70mm to arrive. Off out today to get some shots so will give you some more info later.

Sounds good. Had to resist spending on an EOS30 Film body and a sigma 17-35.. had the money but couldn't really justify it

To be honest I i could have keep my D300 set up and still got good results but i'm a sucker for a new bit of kit and worked hard this last month so thought sod it i'm getting one (D3).

Went to a Nikon expo a little while ago and had a play around with the D3...she's a beauty!
