Could someone hold my hand (q6600 & DS3)

The Coolermaster TX3 is slightly better than the F7P and is a fair bit cheaper, but the F7P Rev. 2 is out not which is about equal. So it's the same difference... OCUK also have the Zalman 9500 which is amazingly good for the price. Don't know how it stacks up against the TX3.
 
I am in the same boat, except I used to overclock a number of years ago and then stopped.

I have the same motherboard and same CPU, I was about to purchase a I7 or I5 setup, but others on here have said push the Q6600

I have a Noctua HSF, what settings should I go for in the BIOS, just up the FSB and change the RAM settings? RAM is Corsair 6400

Leave the voltages on auto?

As if this goes to plan I may invest in another 8GB RAM, SSD and a replacement GFX card (9800GT)

Obviously more components less stable O/C?
