Could someone please recommend a good romantic film

Looking for something really decent, not the next usual trash with Jennifer aniston or whoever the next "look at me get undressed" person is.

A film like, it happened one night, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind etc.

Old John Cusack movie. I love it!

The Artist, which is at the Cinema now and looking to clean up at the Oscars, is a great Romantic movie. Deffo one to take a date to the cinema to see.

Lost In Translation is sublime. I'm not sure everyone get's it though. Same with The Artist. Got to have an appreciation for the arts i think to be a real Cinemaphile!

Now I'm all for using "romantic" in the true sense of the word, but that's pretty hard line!

I'm sure we all thought Natalie Portman was excellent in Leon (don't take that wrong), but is it me or is she just a bad actress now she's grown up? She seems so self-conscious in her acting?
