No in short, because wars almost always centre around resources or regime change. If wars were virtual then after the 'games is won' the loser would have to effectively handover power/resources voluntarily, which they would not do.

note: they will ultimately be a virtual element to war (as we may be seeing the start of with that bug the other week) relating to the attacking of infrastructure but the physical side to conflict will still be present.
