Appreciate any help expert help here.

Spec'ing a PC for my son, he plays games like Valorant/Apex etc.

Budget £1300 max.

I think I'll get a windows license elsewhere so can remove that.

I did look at OC's Radiance Bullet https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ocuk...3600-powered-by-asus-gaming-pc-fs-1dl-og.html and upped the GPU to *Build Stock* ASUS GEFORCE RTX 3070 TUF GAMING OC 8GB GDDR6 which is sort of in budget.

What do you think?

Ah, when adding the 3070 the price jumps up to £1500.

Motherboard is supermarket PC level garbage with weak VRM.
With heatsinks such VRM is good only for 65W TDP CPUs, without heatsinks you can derate that further down.

Case has garbage for cooling with badly constricted fans and isn't fit for heat output of higher graphics cards excarberating VRM issue further.
Basically would consider that level cooling adequate for playing MS Word.

Also Kolink PSU is garbage unfit for above mainstream graphics cards.

PSU needs upgrading from that Kolink garbage.
Dropping Wintoys10 should give plenty of room for that.
Discounted Phanteks AMP would be choise in there.

Mide level PSUs just aren't enough cheaper.

And storage config is complete bat crazy bonkers with price of 1TB NVMes and DirectStorage not working with SATA.
1TB Crucial P5 or WD Blue SN550 is likely even cheaper than those two combined.

Similar to what I was putting together, except I had msi b550 gaming edge mobo for additional £20. Also if buy away can get the rm850 full modular gold psu for £89 , with 10 yrs warranty so should do for future upgrades in GPUs etc in future. Case is subjective so hadnt got that far. I'd def nab the storage before they put the price up again
