Couldn't withdraw monies :( 'Link' system not working

I have an HSBC card and it wouldn't work in Natwest and Abbey, fingers crossed it will work in HSBC on the way home.

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing problems?

Il almost guarentee you it wont work anywhere, my mate is with HSBC and over the last few months has had days where the card will just not work anywhere and its definately a widespread thing as we were in birmingham one day and every cash point had a que of people waiting to see if their HSBC card worked in any of them.

There was a posh woman in OcUK yesterday who had this problem, although she insisted it was all the fault of the poor bloke behind the counter. (who was "also a liar") We all had a good laugh when she left :D
 
Do you think this means cashback also won't work? :(

Am in London...not Brighton...I wasn't the only one in Natwest that it was happening to...what a nightmare!!!

payments are working fine on my FD card, link cash machines are not.
So, cashback should be fine i would have thought.

Before the cashpoint error i had done 3 maestro payments within 10 mins, after I did 1 more, so that side is deffo working (for me!)

The last few times its happened to my friend the card has been totally useless in store or at atms, but if its working for morba maybe theyve only messed up one side of it this time
 
Morba - what is FD?

I will have to have a go in Tescos after work and HSBC on way home, otherwise I will have to use the Bank of Boyfriend till they do ;)

Exactly the same thing has been happening to my missus over the last few months
 
Really? I can't believe this has happened so many times!

Have I been walking round with my eyes closed? I read the paper everyday and haven't come across this at all!!!

Never noticed it myself either and I generally use my card quite a lot!
 
I can't get any moneys out of my HSBC account :mad:
















































Being stoney broke may have summit to do with it though :(
