Nothing you can do about the voice comms thing im afraid. So what if someones called where they died and where they last saw the opponent. Doesnt give HUGE advantages really if you are playing against skilled people.
it doesn't always but then again often it can. It can depend how and where people die. If someone was hunting them and found the whole group camping somewhere, or one person was covering A, rest at B and the whole team attacks A.
But like i said, i can't be bothered with clan matches anymore, not only were they few and far between, i don't like playing with clans who flat out cheat on public or private servers out of matches. its boring so i had no time for it, and still 90% of your time was playing out of matches where ghosting lets you cheat to a massive degree. not to mention if clan members are on both sides.
I still don't see why anti-cheat software can't be used to stop people joining a game if they have TS or other commonly available chat programs on. Frankly yes, people can make new apps and use them, but 98% of people won't bother, and steam is fully capable of updating those lists on a daily basis if needed. Lots of people cheat and don't even really think of it as cheating, they do it because its so ridiculously easy. you can accidentally cheat if you simply want to talk to the other "dead" people about what happened and the guys still playing can hear. the people that cheat on purpose will find a way, but they cheat now with no effort at least it will be harder. but the people that don't really realise what they are doing, and the a lot who won't bother looking to get around it won't cheat anymore. somethings better than doing nothing.
Quite a few people in past threads on ocuk about CS:S ghosting has come up and plenty of people have said its completely fine and not cheating, those people have a case to think that as Valve are doing absolutely nothing to fight it at all, when it is so so easy.
