Counter Strike Global Offensive rumours

It looks wierd to me, the movement looks like he's floating around with no contact with the ground and his arm looks like a sprite from an Atari ST.

I bet the next gen consoles are in development right now, and Valve has a Skunkworks project on a engine for these new consoles and PCs.

If they had released this 3 or 4 years ago it might have had a chance, now? Not in my opinion.

CS will always be the daddy of this genre for me but daddy should just sit down with his slippers and watch Future weapons with mack on discovery and just shut up.
 
Looks terrible, seems like they are just trying to cater for casual gamers now and forgetting about competitive play.
 
A sure sign of someone that doesn't play CS - running around with their crosshair on the floor.
 
Was talking about CS:GO to my console owning work mates today (most of them own PS3's). I had to explain what CS is as none of them have ever heard of it! and to be honest they wasn't that impressed. This got me thinking - at this point CS:GO graphics looks poor in comparison to COD and Battlefield, given this and the fact most console owners may not know anything about the history of CS. How will valve compete? there is a good chance this could fail!

I think they should shelve this, create a new engine and work towards releasing CS 2 on PC and next gen consoles. I would be happy with BF3 graphics + CSS gameplay + Cross Platform multiplayer :)
 
lol watching someone run around with a controller in that video and how gimped their movement is.........console players gona be so dead :D
 
I don't understand why they use demos of retards for the trailers etc. I especially hate video reviews for PC games that use footage from consoles! Makes any game look ***
 
hating the new player skins and movement in this new one, love the ones on CSS always find them comical the way they look and move. Overly not impressed by the looks of this new, will only buy it if its under a tenner.
 
Mmm did I just see an arrow pointing to where the bomb is planted in that video? The pro gamers aint going to like that addition.

I can't say I like the art style they went for. Something about it just erks me.

Even worse is the sound of some of the weapons, the AK sounds nothing like it's Classic sound at all. It sounds more muffled and dull now.
