Seriously just play GunGame for a few days, it'll help you aim, then just learn normal maps on bigger publics, you'll love it.

Public can get a bit boring, but 5on5 match play is great fun. For relaxation there are numerous mods and stuff (surf/rpg/soccer/slide etc..)

I don't mind CSS on occasion, but actually prefer CS 1.6 or even better condition zero

CSS great game, if your just starting now, i'd probably suggest going on things like Gungame, Zombie or other fun mods.
The mods are all i basically play now as i played that much 1.6 and css normally

TF2 > CS:S> 1.6

CS:S is one of those games you can play for a quick round or two or you can play for a few hours. However, as mentioned, public play is pretty crap, but there are some fun mods for it!

Try Gungame mod when you do get it. Gets you used to the guns. We have a server in it. (www.fireon-clan.com)

pub is pretty good if you can find a decent server with some good regs on it.

You made a mistake and accidently reversed the graph, I was nice and fixed it for you

Seriously though, I don't know why I like CZ so much, but I haven't played it really for months now.... I would probably be awful

CZ and 1.6 are very good i actually prefer them to CS:S and TF2 but i havent played them in probably a year?
