Dunno why it wasn't bundled with the Orange Box, guess Valve want people to play TF2 more.

Be weird on the console though. I remember playing CS (Condition Zero i believe) on the Xbox1 and it felt awful.

Yeah it wouldnt be great but I'm sure it would sell like hot cakes. I'd buy it just for a few hours of fun.

I actually played it again on the PC a couple of days ago, it's aged pretty badly.

You'd have huge amounts of auto aim, like you do with CoD on the 360.

This is true. Played it a few weeks ago and it looked pretty bad. HL2 and the Episodes look fine, but CSS hasn't aged well.

Indeed. It's a game that gets stale fairly quickly without all the great user added stuff like custom skins, sounds and maps. Look at TF2 or Left 4 Dead on the 360 compared to the PC for a half decent example of why games such as this fail on console.

I couldn't imagine playing cs:s without a keyboard or mouse as kreee said there would have to be a huge amount of autoaim :eek:

I think the game would be wasted on consoles

I've got a PS3 and CoD4 is good on that but it's so much easier and noob friendly compared to cs:s. from the aiming to the guns (& lack of recoil) and especially the movement & gameplay, it's just run around and spam but cs/cs:s is aim properly and burst fire.

I guess I have been playing fps games on the pc online since 1995 tho

But I think for an 800/1200 point spin it wouldnt be a bad move by valve. I agree it would be limited in its lasting but for a little punt it would be fun times....for a while, and a great money spinner for valve.

The new CS i assume he is refering to was heenr efered to millions of times over the years and still squat.

Id like their to be as they took so much out of CSS that was in the prev CS it was stupid

I can see your point. For 4.99 or so it might be worth it for a couple of nights fun.

I don't think CSS has aged badly. Great gameplay is great gameplay. Plus i own on it
