Don't bother trying to compare to the early betas of CS. Those versions were golden!

the fact that steam has issues with speedtouch routers and its a known thing. The games will play but then give you a nice warning in the right hand corner... warning network disconection (or timeout to server grey box). There is a games section within the router to allow games priority to run, mind I got sick of the disconections and use my netgear router.
