Countersigning - Passport

Dont think he can tbh, it needs to be a professional ie doctor, lawyer, teacher etc...people with professional qualifications as far as i know.

Are you re-newing your passport or applying for a new one???...reason why i ask is that when i renewed my passport a few yrs ago, i didnt need to get anyone to countersign for me...well im pretty sure that i didnt need to but still got my passport renewed though.

for renewals you dont need to get it countersigned.

had a heck of a time trying to get my passport countersigned as initially the GP practice said they wouldnt do it because they get so many requests for it. As a favour to me my GP did though....thank god. Didnt know anyone else who could do it.

I had to get my old boss (the company director) to sign mine. I didn't know anyone else they mentioned on the recommended professions...

I don't think they need professional qualifications as such, they just need to be of standing in the local community, like police officers for instance (as if that makes 'em any more trustworthy).

You may still have to get it counter signed, If they decide your appearence has changed significantly since your last passport was issued they make you jump though hoops again while they dish out pasports to migrant workers an peoples new cousins (oops ment wives) without so much as a question!

Can my friend counter sign my counter part for my Passport application form?

He is a Community Assistant.

Anyone with an undergraduate degree can counter sign a passport.
I think the only condition is that they have to have "known" you for a min of 3 years.
