anyone else get the option to play counterstrike source beta when the open steam? :S

only noticed it today, wasnt there lastnite!

that crap game still is beta imo, terrible laggy netcoded crap.
Cant understand how ppl play it competitively, and for prize money as well :confused:

its perfect on lan, its only online where its fubared netcode

and this beta is the dynamic money system, there beta testing it

It's a 10MB max download (for those with CS:S installed), which as said, is for use in the testing of the horrid new dynamic buying pricing system they have going to be implemented soon.

its a sily idea. winning team is the only team that can afford good weapons meaning the loosing side is even more shafted than normal

CS:S is a little bit more than just 1.6 with physics, well, gameplay wise, that's what it is, but it's totally revamped graphically. Think you may be a little confused.
