Just wondering, do you guys still play CS nowadays? I used to be addicted to it but after playing bf3, I didn't want to play CS anymore. It felt like playing PS3, then going back to atari.

I used to play 100s of hours before TF2, then 10s of hours after TF2 released. now around an hour every month/s after BF3...

Counter strike universe is old school gameplay; sadly, its time for it to die... Valve made a huge mistake making a new SKIN to an old technology and market it as a new CS title.

IMO, they should stop CSGO and recreate a new title with this decade style games.

I prefer CSS to CS as its less about precise hits and more about the strategy possible. Its one of the few games requiring active thought.
It must be very boring if played just as rush & fire and bf3 probably beats it easily

Its not likely to die as its unique and requires very little development cost

I still play it for a good 4 nights a week, for a few hours at a time.

got a really nice laid-back server with lots of chatty regulars, CSS has yet to die for me. in fact, i can still see us all playing it after the release of cs:go

I play mostly zombie servers these days, shame the French servers suck so much with the idiotic admins. Still love this game, only game ever made that I can never get sick of.........yet.

UKCS is damned good, like to play on server 2/3,

CSGO looks like a good improvement who knows, BF3 is alright I guess.

I haven't played for a good 8-9 months now, I got to a stage where I was playing the best I've ever been, but I was sinking way too much time into it and became more and more frustrated.

I'll probably go back to it eventually, I've just started doing the same with left 4 dead.

Didn't notice an official main thread as such, but wonder why there is almost never anyone on server 3 (UKCS office 24/7) anymore?
