Here are the questions

"How soon could you start?"

"Expectations for starting rate with (company)"

This is for a local trainee opportunity in my area, i don’t want to sound desperate but im not bothered about the pay and i can start as soon as possible. What could i write?

The minimum wage for a full time apprentice is £80 per week, so would that be okay to put down?

And i could write "As soon as necessary" for the starting question.

What’s your opinions?

Thanks in advance

Just put down what sort of wage you think would be appropriate, maybe have a look into the averages for your area?

you could put the week beginning.... like next week? but it depends if they are likely to view your application straight away, as if they don't read it until next wed it might not look as good :P *shrug*

also as for starting wage, i wouldn't put minimum wage but i wouldn't put your self up too high oviously :p

Let them offer you something for the minimum wage, you can't dictate your wage to them as they have the final say. Maybe word it cleverly along the lines of "I would be happy to hear what you think a reasonable wage is for this position".

Answer A: Haven't I started already?

Answer B: Everything you've got Baby, everything you've got!

Worth a try tbh

available immediately.

6.50 per hour ( £244 a week )?
This is very much dependent on the job and your experience. If you don't need / want any more than minimum wage ( £5.35 an hour) then put that down, if you think that you are worth more then go for more.

For the rate just put down ' my expectations are in line with the local rate for this type of work', or something along those lines, no need to get specific.

Thanks for input, done and posted :)

Left it blank, could put me in a bad position - it was an application form for electricians too so that might of been why.
