I have just gotton a free PS3. Yay!

Now i have had a look on the site but cannot work out wether you need to pay a subscription to play games online ?

Also, does the PS3 have wifi built in ? (its the basic 40GB PS3)

And lastly, what games are good online ? (i like cod, mohaa, bf2 type of games).

Thanks allot, cant wait to get this setup properly!

Edit: No subscription needed for online. Wifi is built in.
And get COD4 + Warhawk (and MGO if you like MGS4).

I don't, Warhawk is crap.
Get something like Metal Gear Solid 4 or Uncharted. Both are a million miles better than that piece of crap Warhawk.

Battlefield Bad Company!

It's out next week, download the demo from PSN to see it for yourself!

As said above, don't get warhawk...

Thanks guys and girls!

I think ill get cod4 as this look good online!

Edit, i think ill sell my xbox360 as i never ever seem to use it.

I'd keep it, you're not going to get much second hand. And why hadn't you tried CoD4 previously if you have a 360? I guess didn't want to pay for the online sub?

I never play the 360. And i suppose having to a subscription to play online was kinda a barrier as i could never be bothered to get it.

To be able to just turn on the console and play online with no hassle would be best as i dont play allot.

My dad uses his credit card for work and has been gaining points on it which he didnt know what he could use them for (for 2 years!).

I took a look and realised he had enough points to get 3 x PS3's if he wished. He got a PS3, 19" LCD HD TV, and still has lots of points left.

He's messed up there then.
He should have got 3x PS3's, sold 2 as new and he'd have gotten a bigger TV than that!

They wouldn't need to. £300 EACH near enough.
That's £550 almost certainly. You can get some fantastic 32" HDTV's for £500 and less. (Toshiba and Sony for example).

yeah but why buy the consoles, when he could have just got the bigger tv with the points if he wanted?
