Hi guys,
I plan to upgrade to Vista next week, and my Harddrive situation is currently as follows:
1 x 160Gb w/ Windows XP
1 x 320Gb Data drive
The above 2 drives are connected directly to the SATA ports on the Mobo.
Then I have
1 x 320Gb Data drive (hardly anything on it)
which is connected to a SATA controller card in a PCI-E slot.
What I'd like to know is:
1) The 320Gb data drive currently connected to the Mobo... can I move that onto the PCI-E controller card without it destroying and/or formatting my drive?
2) Will the data drive be accessible from both XP and Vista?
Thanks for any help/advice.
