Couple of Nvidia questions.

Couple of quick questions now I've got Nvidia.

MSI afterburner still the best way to OC these things?

Is GeForce Experience worth having if you don't record or stream? Just stick to drivers?

MSI ab is still very popular - it's my go too and I wouldn't have geforce experience if I didn't stream to my nvidia shield.

You can stream to iOS/Android as well using Moonlight.

GeForce Experience: Avoid like the plague. Download GPU drivers off Nvidia site. Just install graphics drivers. The rest is bloatware

Bare minimum to play games with outputting sound via PC onboard sound/discrete sound card is Driver and PhysX.

If you are outputting sound through your TV/Panel speakers via HDMI, you'll need that.

3D Vision Controller Driver/3D Vision Driver if you want to use Nvidia Ansel or/and want to use Nvidia 3D.

Ansel is Nvidia's in game screenshot tool(only supported in a few titles though), pretty powerful tool if you like to take screenshots, it freezes the game and you can zoom/pan round the scene, add filters etc.

quick question about afterburner. i have the latest version but when i try to save my overclock setting it says profile saved in slot 1, however when i hover the mouse over it says slot empty and the number 1 is greyed out. any ideas?

Up and running. Very pleased. GTA V is running quite noticably smoother. I can now have grass on high instead of normal. This actually makes a big difference to immersion in the countryside.

It should save it and show the clocks you have set. Have you clicked apply to the settings you want prior to saving?

It wont save if i have voltage core % unlocked, but works normal and saves fine when its locked.
