Couple of Puppy Pictures

Just been taking a few photos of my aunties 7 week old pedigree labrador puppies before they go to their new homes on monday, very cute. Hard work taking photos though they are so fast and impatient. As a complete novice with a new camera they weren't the easiest of subject to deal with.

Camera is a fuji S9500.

Out of dozens of shots these were the best ones:

Comments, critisisms and tips are greatly appreciated.
 
they both need to be cropped. 1 needs to be a lot tighter and 2, being so wide has made the puppy look lonely and sad. A little PS work at your sorted.

Yeah these pics are straight from camera I reduced the size and added a border but didnt crop at all I didnt really know where to crop perhaps someone could highlight or demonstate for me and also iterate what governs how you should crop.

I quite like that, it gives it some character. They do need a little post processing though to get the best out of them. :)
 
How are those puppies even tall enough to peek over that? You must have sellotaped them in :) I love puppies, they rock.

Reminds me of my mum n' dads old dog, Max, Black Lab, We had him for 12 years till Cancer took him :(

Best years of my life (so far) playing with him!..

There are still 3 available if you wanted another :p

I have some more shots but they are mostly of the back of them you take a picture and by the time the shutter has gone they have moved onto somthing else.
